Eyewu has over 35 years management experience in the construction and engineering sector. Starting his career as a Civil Engineer obtaining a HND in the subject from Greenwich University in 1990 continuing his academic studies with the completion of a degree in Construction Management and Design again at Greenwich University in 1994 and a Masters degree in Construction Management from South Bank University in 1997. He has a vested interest in energy conservation/climate change and sustainability both in housing as well as aviation, this interest resulted in a completed thesis for the housing sector with Professor Stephen Pretlove as supervisor. Eyewu gave the reader an incite into the benefits of energy conservation and the use photovoltaics/solar energy in the built environment, giving a number of examples of internationally completed schemes.
With the assistance of Professor Joe Tah as lecturer, formerly at South Bank University. Eyewu was able to gain a valuable understanding of the construction administrative processes required to complete construction projects with the emphasis on: timely delivery, unique project management techniques, cost control methods including analysis, planning, just as importantly a greater understanding of the construction disciplines and their remit in the construction process.

Eyewu has lectured at a number of FE colleges/Universities in the UK, he is also an NVQ assessor who has a proven track record within the construction industry of minimum utilization of resources leading to overall profitability of a range of schemes; managing all phases of multimillion pound contracts from tender stage to final accounts ; estimating time and cost; maintaining quality/design; monitoring progress of projects at all stages; able to administrate budgets; develop and implement policies and procedures; ensure compliance with regulations, specifications; scheduled, directed and supervised sub/trade contractors; negotiated with vendors and stakeholders; communicated extensively with clients/clients agent. He has acquired first-rate analytical problem solving skills, dedicated to maintaining high design standards; responsible for front-end cost planning, engaging directly with both internal and external clients/related disciplines and teams from project initiation; responsible and answerable for all fiscal and cost planning aspects of projects; responsible for bids, internal and external clients from inception at feasibility stage to presentation to the main board or the appropriate limits of authority at commitment review, including reviews and compliance sign offs ; accountable during delivery of the project with a view to ensure forecast margins are achieved and maximized. He is a Prince 2 practitioner with excellent communication skills through patient and persistent dialogue; he has a demonstrable ability to analyse issues, expedite innovative solutions in a pressurised environment that contributes to quality, timely delivery; interfaced and corresponded on a daily basis with senior management, ancillary departments and contractors on various outstanding issues. He is a proactive, self reliant and extremely capable Director and owner of odessey International Ltd with extensive experience managing numerous projects at any one time. He possess a pragmatic approach to problem solving with a business acumen to balance legal and commercial priorities, he is an individual who is adaptable to any environment or project.
